This is an excellent textbook but it is not a pocket book for ...

This is an excellent textbook but it is not a pocket book for clinical rotations and it may not be uploaded into your iPad, it has to be viewed on-line. I have only read one chapter so far and it was succinct, informative, practical and nicely updated. But if you are looking for a good companion pocketbook for the clinics get Thomas Zheng Obs & Gyn Comprehensive Handbook. Dr. Zheng's is a must-have reference.

Great, colorful resource.

Loved the brilliant illustrations and highlighted, important pearls. As a visual and kinesthetic learner, this was a great text for me. This was such an easy text to read that I continued to read it for fun past the required readings for my Women's Health Course.

Good for the student who wants more information.

Very useful book, great for the medical student. I was highly motivated and able to get through the text because I found the material to be interesting and useful, however, many students will not have the stamina to read a book this dense during their rotation. Depending on personal interest in the subject matter and personal study habits, this may or may not be the book for you.
